This summer, I began my adventure of taking the Amtrak train for travel. It welcomed me with warm smiles from conductors and an adventure I never knew awaited along the rails. Taking the train has given me the time to truly reflect and indulge in the true essence of life while watching stunning, heartwarming scenery pass you by. Seeing America glide through the Amtrak windows felt like my personal silent film to watch from the comfort of my seat. The conductors were all friendly, enthusiastic, and took pride in thier jobs.
