I met Missouri when he was hired to fix the air conditioning unit a couple weeks ago. After quick conversation, he revealed that he was a passionate photographer years ago with his own darkroom and printing lab.

Even though be stopped shooting years ago, he still keeps all his photos with him from that time inside his work truck. He brought a few photos out to show me and I was so stunned. His main focus was portraiture of Black women. The photographs have that true 90's style that's still being recreated today.

Missouri says he was done once photography started to make the big switch over to digital. I encouraged him to maybe give it another try, that film is back on the rise. Hoping he does one day
